Our company uses email templates in our CRM tool. A template is built and then saved. This can be a thank you for an order, a company message, part of a series of emails or what ever. Then our users can filter by a group, status, location, sales stage and mail to the group. This adds consistency to your company marketing message and makes it easy to stay in touch with customers and prospects.
Stakeholders in small, medium business tell our CRM sales team, "My guys won't use it." We follow up with this,
"Does the business need more accurate customer and sales information?" And the answer is:
"Sure."
And two thoughts bang into my brain, I can not help but think this:
Is the definition of insanity, to expect different results by doing the same thing?
And, should inmates run the asylum?
Marketing managers and sales managers lives are spent tracking leads
and opportunities. Generating leads, routing leads, qualify leads and
lead updates eat up time and money. Automating this process has several
advantages first, you know the lead is passed to the right sales person
quickly, second you know the sales person is working the lead.
